Our Story
Rock Castle & Cota’s Lapidary began with Joe Cota’s love of rocks and lapidary work. In the mid-1970s, Joe started cutting and polishing stones part-time, quickly earning a reputation around Lebanon for his skill and attention to detail. By 1990, demand had grown so much that the family turned the business into a full-time operation.
Now led by his son, Jason, who left a successful engineering career to carry on the family tradition, Rock Castle & Cota’s Lapidary remains dedicated to the same principles that have kept us going for more than 40 years — quality craftsmanship, a strong connection to our community, and a deep respect for the stones we work with.
